What did you do this past week?
This past week I mostly focused on my algorithms class but I was able to get started and set up the project. I begun coding recently and I hope to be able to complete the project by the weekend.
What’s in your way?
I think that my biggest obstacle would be the rigorous testing and set up processes but the code for the problem itself is not presenting us with a big problem
What will you do next week?
Once I complete the project I will work more on refining my python skills. Although I enjoy coding in python, I am learning how rusty I truly am and how I need to brush up on my skills.
If you read it, what did you think of the Continuous Integration?
I thought that it was an excellent read. Learning more about professional processes is important to me because this upcoming summer I will be working in a professional environment so learning more about what will be used in different environments is extremely helpful for me
What was your experience of Collatz? (this question will vary, week to week)
Collatz was very interesting to say the least. I enjoyed coding and working on it but the process felt rather tedious and cumbersome at times.
What was your experience of exceptions? (this question will vary, week to week)
Exceptions are a great way to handle certain situations. I didn’t understand how powerful of a tool exceptions are so now that I have some experience using them I will continue to use them more.
What made you happy this week?
Although this week was somewhat rough, climbing from immortal to radiant was very satisfying and I was very happy that I climbed 2 ranks in the tactical shooter valorant. Apart from that I spent a lot of time watching shows on Netflix which is always fun!
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My tip of the week is to be patient while setting up a certain working environment because although the process might be tedious and annoying it is extremely beneficial in the long run and benefits you greatly.
